Ano Hi Mita Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai (Done)
This been a while guys. Almost 7 months since my last post for this blog and I want to say that I’m sorry for those who actually liked it and my random ramblings. But here’s to a new start.
I want to start out with how much I love this series. Ano Hi Mida Hana no Namae o Bokutachi wa Mada Shiranai was such a heart wrenching series that evoked so many different emotions from me that I cannot believe that its just an anime. As I was watching the series I pretty much subconsciously stopped watching it at episode 6 and let it molder away and slowly to be forgotten. Now after watching episode 11 I can admit to myself that I knew how it was going to end and wanted to do everything within my ability to prevent it from happening. Even going as far as to denying the fact that it would happen by not watching it.
I cried so much during the last three episodes and cannot comprehend how I could develop such feelings of attachment to Menma. I was crying so far and sobbing by the time they all bid their farewells that my eyes were stinging from the tears. Mari Okada wove together a cast that gripped my heart and made me believe in the pain that they were all suffering from the loss of Menma. I have to say that if anyone wants to have their hearts touched by an anime this is one to watch.
